Important Information

1. Calendar: Our August calendar has been published online.  Please take a look at our rehearsal and performance schedule online at http://www.shs-band.com/calendar.html 
2. All-State Band Audition Info: Audition information for All-State and District Honor Band has been posted on our website at http://www.shs-band.com/all-state.html.  We want to encourage all of our students to audition for All State.  It’s a very special experience and only makes our band better.  See Mr. Weaver or Mrs. Hammock for more details.   
   
3. JSU / Auburn Band Days: Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the Auburn Marching Honor Band & the JSU Band Day!  Thank you for representing “The PRIDE” and Southside High with class and dignity!       
4. “Family Movie Night”: The PMA is hosting a movie night for our band students and their families this Saturday night.  Tickets are only $1 and popcorn will be sold too.  If the weather is good, we’ll watch outside in the school courtyard; if it’s not, we move into the auditorium.  Bring a lawn chair and let’s have some fun!  Students will vote on the movie choice during rehearsal.
