To All Seniors & Senior Parents The Southside HS Band Alumni Association has generously established the Stowers-Traylor Excellence in Music Scholarship for a member of the graduating class of 2019. Named after two former band directors, the Stowers-Traylor Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a senior of The PRIDE who is entering into music education or who is participating in their college/university's band program. In addition to the application form, students must submit a 400-word essay. A committee of band alumni will review the applications and select a recipient. All applications are due Friday, May 3rd and the recipient will be announced during the spring concert on May 7th. We want to say a huge thank you to the Alumni Band Association for this amazing opportunity for our students! Good luck to all of our applicants! Go PRIDE GO!
