Why Do We Pay Fees?
Fees are an unfortunate necessity as the Southside Band is a completely self-sustaining program. It takes approximately $60,000 per year to run the Southside band program. The school district does not fund any of this expense. Membership fees bring in roughly $30k, which means each year, we need to raise approximately $30,000 to $35,000! As an organization, we cannot operate and provide any level of experience/education for our students without a solid financial foundation.
Every effort has been made to keep fees as low as possible while still providing the best year-round experience possible.
