Many members have earned substantial credits towards the Washington DC trip with our recent Cookie Dough Sale. Though we have entered in these credits on our end, final approval to have them show on your trip accounts lies with our travel company (ATC). Once they have received the check from the PMA Boosters, they can approve the bulk credit. The PRIDE’s Annual Coca-Cola Fundraising Sale 2018
To All Students & Parents of The PRIDE, Hello and welcome back to school! Being a part of the band is lot of fun and it takes a lot of time, effort and dedication. It also requires a substantial financial commitment. To help you as families ease that burden to in order to better supply the educational needs of our students, the RMS & SHS Bands offer several fundraisers throughout the year. The first is our annual Coke Sale! Below is all of the information that you as parents and students need to know in order to help us to have a successful fundraiser. Cases of 24 Coca-Cola 20oz products are being sold for $25 each. Virtually all Coke products are for sale, but no mixed cases or partial orders will be sold Sale Dates August 13th – 27th. *All orders and money are due to the band offices by Aug. 27th. Students must use the order form for their school. Profits Students will receive $5 credit off of every case of Coca-Cola sold. These profits can be used to help students pay for their band fees! Order Forms/Delivery RMS students must use the RMS order form; SHS students the HS form. This will ensure that orders are delivered to the correct school. Once Coca-Cola has set a delivery date, we will notify parents and make arrangements for pick up.
The Southside Band is holding a 5k Run/Walk Panther Prowl at Southside High School on Saturday, February 24, 2018. We would like to invite you to participate as a sponsor for this event that will go towards the Pride Music Association to help purchase an equipment truck for "The PRIDE". The PRIDE Music Association has been given 2 tickets to the SEC Championship Game to raffle! We need your help to sell them. Anyone willing to take some tickets to sell for $10.00 each, collect money and return money and stub with name and phone number on stub on or before November 13, 2017, please contact a PMA board member, get request to us through your band student. The winning tickets will be drawn November 16th at our annual PRIDESGIVING meal. This fundraiser has cost us nothing to run. All profits will be used towards a new equipment truck. To All Southside Band Members & Parents,
The PRIDE Music Association Booster club is sponsoring a “Spaghetti Supper” on October 30, 2017 before our annual Fall Concert. The meal will be served at 5 pm before the 6 pm concert in the SHS Cafeteria. We are asking your help to sell $5 supper tickets (adult and child tickets are the same price) to your family, friends, and fellow non-band member students. Those who do not buy tickets before the supper may purchase them for $7.50 at the door and join us for the meal. Ten tickets will be in an envelope and issued to each band student. You are responsible for returning $50.00 or money for tickets sold and any unsold tickets on Wednesday, 10/25/17. If you need more than 10 tickets you can sign out an extra envelope. Food will be ordered on Thursday, 10/26/17, based on the number of tickets sold determined by money turned in. In addition, the PMA is holding a Pumpkin Decorating Contest! To enter, bring your decorated pumpkin at 4:30 pm to the cafeteria on the 30th, and you will be assigned a number. Your pumpkin and assigned number will serve as table decorations during the supper. After our guests enjoy their meal they will be encouraged to vote for their favorite pumpkin by purchasing a $1 vote. The pumpkin with the most votes will be awarded a cash prize. Prizes for most votes will be $50 for most, $25 for 2nd most votes, and $10 for 3rd most votes. Pumpkins will be taken home after concert. *The PMA will also be selling a SEC raffle tickets (drawing 11/16/17), (final chance to purchase) old uniforms and candy bars. Hello PRIDE!
All day tomorrow, It’s Yogurt Time in Gadsden will be hosting a “spirit day” fundraiser for The PRIDE Music Association. They will be donating 25% of all collected receipts to the boosters!!! Please come out tomorrow to support The PRIDE by purchasing as much tasty frozen goodness as you can hold. If possible, we could use some volunteers to help collect receipts at various times throughout the day.
