*Dress nice & professionally.  No shorts or denim.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

2. WIND ENSEMBLE TEE SHIRTS:  Last chance to buy a Wind Ensemble AMEA shirt! http://www.shs-band.com/blog/wind-ensemble-tee-shirt-order-forms
   
3. TRIP MEETING / DISNEY PARADE REHEARSAL: There will be a mandatory meeting for all Disney Trip participates Monday, March 5th at 7 pm in the band room.  We will go over the itinerary, expectations, packing list etc.  We also have only 3 after school rehearsals to put our parade routine together on March 8, 9, & 12.   This is going to be an amazing trip!!!! 
4. AUXILIARY CLINICS & AUDITIONS: Information regarding Colorguard & Crimsonette auditions for 2018 has been published on our blog at http://www.shs-band.com/blog/2018-auxiliary-clnics-auditions.  Clinics will be held the week of April 23rd. ​
   
5. DRUM MAJOR / STUDENT LEADERSHIP INFO:  Information regarding Drum Major auditions has been published online at http://www.shs-band.com/blog/drum-major-auditions-2018 
6. SOUTHSIDE BAPTIST SEEKING TRUMPETS:  Southside Baptist is looking for trumpet players for their orchestra.  If you’re interested, please contact Mrs. Clark at [email protected]
   
7. OUT OF DARKNESS EVENT 3/10: Out of Darkness is an event that will be held at SHS March 10th from 9 to 10 am.  The PRIDE has been asked to perform.  This is a completely volunteer event.  Please sign up next week if you can participate.  
8. WIND ENSEMBLE AT CO. BOARD MEETING:  The Wind Ensemble will be recognized for their AMEA performance at the March board meeting at Ivalee Elementary Tuesday the 6th at 4:30 pm.  Please dress appropriately for this event.  Each student will receive at certificate from the board.
