Solo and Ensemble 2017
Good morning students and parents! Firstly, thank you to all parents who attended the booster meeting last night. We have officially begun the order for our new uniforms! How exciting! As in the past, we will again be hosting District II Solo and Ensemble here at Southside High School. The date for Solo and Ensemble is Monday, April 17th from 4-7 PM! This week we will be finding pieces for students who wish to play a solo or be in an ensemble. We encourage all students to participate! The price for each event is as follows: Solo: $6 Duet (2 players): $3 per person Trio+ (Ensemble of 3 players or more): $2 per person Money for each event will be due on Friday, April 8th. Students, please be thinking about what ensembles you would like to take part in! Each student can sign up for up to four separate events, with only 1 event being a solo. Mr. Weaver and Ms. Palmer will be helping students with their selections during class leading up to April 17th to ensure each student has the proper preparation! Have a wonderful day!
