MON 9/18 – DEADLINE FOR JSU BAND DAY
Marching Band Rehearsal: 3:15 – 5:30pm 
The PRIDE Music Association Booster Meeting: 7:00pm – SHS Band Room (Reschedule from Sept. 11)
 
 
TUES 9/19
Etowah County Marching EXPO: Gadsden City High School Stadium – 6:30pm
 

4:30PM – Report time – dressed and seated
4:45PM – Load Buses/Depart
5:10PM – Arrive/Unload
5:30PM – National Anthem Rehearsal
6:30PM – National Anthem with the combined bands
8:30PM – “The PRIDE” takes the field
9:00PM – Load Buses and return to Southside HS

 
WED 9/20
 
THURS 9/21
Marching Band Rehearsal: 3:15 – 5:30pm 
(Band Rehearsal Field) *The homecoming court will join for a quick rehearsal
 

 
FRI 9/22 SOUTHSIDE vs. FAIRLY, TN (Homecoming)
Report Time: 5:30pm seated and dressed in band room

Departure: 5:45pm – DON’T FORGET ANYTHING!
Pregame Show: 6:50pm
Kick Off: 7:00pm GO PANTHERS!
SHOW: Post-game (due to homecoming)
Dismissal: 10:30ish *Students will be dismissed as a group from the band room.

1. SPRING TRIP: Information regarding our spring trip to Disney World has been posted online at: http://www.shs-band.com/blog/2018-orlando-trip-package-cost-info-payment-schedule 
2. COKE SALE PROFITS: Profits from our Coke Sale have been credited and posted in Charms.  Please check to make sure that everything appears in order; students received $7 credit per each case of cokes.  If you believe an amount has been recorded in error, please contact the band office. 
   
3. UPDATED SEPTEMBER CALENDAR: There is a printable version of our September calendar available online at: http://www.shs-band.com/calendar.html *Please note, that the calendar will continue to evolve and change as the year continues.  Keep a watchful eye out and check the calendar often.
