Hello PRIDE!
Congratulations on a fantastic Veteran’s Parade performance! Today after the parade you should have all received a form for our upcoming PRIDESGIVING! PRIDESGIVING will take place next Friday, November 18th at 6 p.m. in the SHS lunchroom. PRIDESGIVING is one of our favorite, more recent band traditions at Southside. Each year, our members, parents, and family gather together to celebrate Thanksgiving with one another before the official break of school. We eat, laugh, and share stories together in order to celebrate our friendships. We will have turkey and dressing, mac n’ cheese, creamed corn, dessert and sweet T catered by Tony’s catering in Gadsden. Plates are $10 per person. All PRIDE members, 8th grade marchers, PRIDE alumni, and parents are invited to attend! If you would like to attend, please return the form and money to Mr. Weaver or Ms. Palmer by next Tuesday, November 15th! If you did not receive a form, you may get one from Ms. Palmer.
