  1. REPORT TIME: Each game day, students are given a “Report Time”.  This is the call for all members to be seated in the band room with all of their equipment ready to go.  This is not the time to first arrive at the band room.  All members are expected to be seated and ready to participate in our student-led “pregame” activity.  After report time, we will inspect uniforms and load the bus to depart for the game.
  2. UNIFORM CODE / INSPECTIONS: All students are required to be in “uniform” throughout the entire game day.  *This simply means that we all do the same thing, the same way at the same time.  (Ex. We all either have the jackets on, or we all have them off.  If they’re off, they’re all folded the same way.  All auxiliaries will match and follow the guidelines set by their instructors)  All members will be inspected before we leave the band room to make sure they are in compliance with our Uniform Code.  This code can be found online in the Membership Info & Forms packet under the “Members” tab.  Students not in uniform will not be allowed to perform.
  3. WATER JUGS: Students are allowed & encouraged to bring their large, wide-mouthed water jugs to all home and away games.  The only rule is that they must be filled with water prior to our report time.  There is no way to fill them at the stadium.  Bottled water will be provided to students in the stadium throughout the game.
  4. CONCESSIONS: Students will have an opportunity to purchase food from the concession stand if they so chose.  Students who want to visit the concessions should bring cash.  All students must be prepared to exit the stadium in time for our warm up and performance.
  5. CHECKOUTS Students are not allowed to checkout for home games or the County EXPO.  This policy helps us get everyone home faster.
  6. DISMISSAL: Students are dismissed as a group from the Bandroom once all the uniforms have been hung properly.  We will not unload the equipment truck tonight.

Questions regarding chaperones & volunteers?
Please contact PMA Vice President Thersea Payne at (256) 613-4009

From Mrs. Payne

“Everyone helps load/unload the “PRIDE” bus.  Everyone helps to clean the band area.  Everyone helps get out children safely to and from the game.  Everyone will be needed at some point to help chaperone students to the restrooms.”

“Oh; and don’t lose the kids.”

Guidelines form the Directors

  • All students should be together the entire time, working together as a team and appearing in “uniform” (same) the entire game.
    • (If we’re all wearing the jackets, then we’re all wearing the jacket.)

  • Students are not allowed to go to the restrooms alone and without an adult.  Only take large groups, and then bring them back together.

  • Students are not allowed to leave the band seating are at any time, including during 3rd quarter.

  • No one else is to enter the band seating area.  (This includes momma, daddy, boyfriend, or girlfriend.)

  • Have fun!  Be professional.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT & SERVICE!!!!
