BAND SCHEDULE – WEEK OF:  March 20th, 2017
 
MON 3/20
The PRIDE Music Association Booster meeting – 7pm SHS Band Hall
 
TUES 3/21
Auxiliary Showcase Dress Rehearsal – 3-6pm, Biddle Auditorium
Drum Major Prelim Auditions – 3:15-5pm, SHS Band Hall
 
WED 3/22
Drum Major Final Auditions – 3-4:30pm, SHS Band Hall
 
*All 2016-17 Marching Band members will participate in the final round of Drum Major auditions.  Our finalists will conduct movement IV from this year’s show. 
 
THURS 3/23
2nd Annual Auxiliary Showcase Recital – Biddle Auditorium, 6pm, $5 Admission
Come support the lovely ladies of The PRIDE’s auxiliary units as they perform in recital for our 2nd every showcase.  All proceeds go toward new auxiliary equipment.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

1. Drum Major Auditions: Drum Major auditions are right around the corner! Drum major camp will be from 7-7:30 a.m. on March 14,15, and 16. Prelims are March 21st from 3:15-5 and Finals are March 22nd  from 3:15-5.  Information packets for all interested in auditioning will be distributed tomorrow!  All band students need to be present for Drum Major finals on March 22nd as the finalists will be conducting the live ensemble on Movement 4 of last year’s show, “Anchors Away”!

 

1. Band Fees: All band fees from 2016-2017 are now due.  Please be sure to take care of any outstanding balances before the end of term.  Seniors: please remember that you cannot participate in the graduation ceremony until all of your outstanding fees have been paid.
