2nd Annual Gadsden, AL TUBACHRISTMAS Friday, December 1st, 2017 – 4pm ***We’re playing for the Gadsden Tree Lighting Ceremony*** You’re invited to the 2nd annual Gadsden TUBACHRISTMAS! Following in the tradition of Yuletide brass bands, TUBACHRISTMAS is an event hosted by the Harvey Philips Foundation and held all around the country in order to promote music, the instruments of the tuba family and spread the Christmas spirit. Participants of all ages and ability are welcome! Bring a horn and come celebrate TUBACHRISTMAS with us this year! SCHEDULE: Friday, December 1st 2017 Registration: 3:00 pm Event participation is $10 per person. 1st United Methodist Church, Gadsden 115 S 5th St. Gadsden, AL 35901 Rehearsal: 3:15 – 4:20 pm *Music books for TUBACHRISTMAS new comers are $20 and can be purchased at registration Performance: 4:45pm in the Gazebo in front of the Gadsden Police Department on Broad St. WHAT TO BRING? -Any kind of Tuba or Euphonium (baritone). 20Js, sousaphones, double bell euphoniums…the stranger the better! Have fun! Our performance will be at night so tree lights are always fun and a good idea! WHAT TO WEAR? Participants are asked to wear festive Christmas attire. The goal of TUBACHRISTMAS is to spread the Christmas spirit and be FUN!
