Students & Parents,
I'd like to personally ask you all to seriously consider taking private lessons. It doesn't have to be super costly or even overly regular. As a young student musician, having the opportunity to work one-on-one for a handful of lessons really helped me to get ahead. This in turn fueled my enjoyment of music-making and school band/orchestra. It also made possible some remarkable traveling experiences such as the GA Lions All-State Band, various university honor bands, the Southern Baptist Youth Orchestra tour and the Georgia All-State Band. Private lessons can help your child to earn top placements by providing individualized attention from an expert at that particular instrument. With a better chance of earning top placement, this also gives your student an opportunity to become a leader among their peers. As we look forward to the future of our program we want to continually grow in musical and personal excellence. I urge you all to consider lessons as away of meeting your personal responsibility to helping our band achieve its goals. Please see some options below!
