Step 7: Purchase Uniform Items
Students will be sized for uniforms during Spring Training and will receive a card that has what size bibbers (pants), shoes, and gloves that they will need. The band program provides the uniform coat, shako (hat), and plume. Students purchase their own bibbers, shoes, and gloves. They will keep these all four years of high school.
Uniform items will be purchased online. The page will open after students have been sized.
Bibbers are $50, shoes are $30, gloves a $3 per pair.
The PMA Boosters will have a limited number of discounted, used bibbers for sale for $25
The PMA also provides every member with two tee shirts, and a water jug.

Step 9: Attend the Spring Scrimmage Game
May 20, Barney Hood Stadium, 7 pm - more info TBA
The PRIDE will perform in the stands (and maybe on the field) for the last time this school year. It is just like a regular season game, save that we will wear the red PRIDE shirt and kakhi shorts. *Current RMS students won't have this shirt yet, so just wear school colors. Flip folders will be provided.

Step 10: Make summer membership fee payments
See "Fees" under the Members tab
Step 11: Practice & condition over the summer
We want everyone to have their summer break, so we take all of June off and don't come back for camp until just before school starts. Many other bands keep a strict, summer-long schedule....we think everyone needs a break.
HOWEVER; if you show up to band camp not having played your instrument in three months and haven't even begun to look at the music...well, we're in trouble and you're going to be WAY BEHIND.
All of the music and drill videos are uploaded to the "Music & Resources" tab under "Members". The password is 1958. Do your part to help out the team!
ALSO
Know ahead of time that marching band happens outside, we live in Alabama, it's hot here; these are facts that no one can change...don't complain about it; just be prepared.
We want everyone to enjoy their time in the band, but its hard not to be miserable if you've spent all summer indoors and aren’t used to at least some physical activity. Don't worry, you won't be running through tires at 5 am (like our football team - Go PANTHERS!), but do get outside over the break and get active!

Step 12: Collect gear & uniforms prior to camp
Before camp in July, there will be a date for everyone to drop by the band room to collect their purchased uniform items and provided items such as tee shirts and water jugs. This is when students will find their new cubby assignments.
