Dear Band Directors,
I hope your school year is off to a great start! We wanted to reach out and share some upcoming opportunities for your students at the University of South Alabama. 1) The 16th Annual Jaguar Marching Honor Band - Saturday, Saturday, October 31, 2026 - This is a great opportunity for high school students to get a taste of college marching band life by rehearsing and performing side-by-side with the Jaguar Marching Band in front of thousands of fans. 2) USA Alabama High School All-State Band Audition Clinic - Saturday, November 21, 2026 - This is an opportunity for students to Prepare for the 2027 High School All-State Band Auditions with the USA Department of Music Faculty! 3) The USA Concert Honor Band Festival - February 19–20, 2027 We welcome students in grades 9-12 to apply for the University of South Alabama Concert Honor Band. Students will experience a rewarding weekend of music-making! More information and registration for these events can be found by visiting the links above or visiting our Department of Music Website and/or jaguarmarchingband.org. And, as always, you are personally invited to join us for any Jaguar Marching Band game or USA Music event as our special guest. We would love to have you on campus, show you around our facilities, and give you an opportunity to see what we are building at South Alabama.
