The following message is from Mr. Vernon of the Alabama Winds.  The AL Winds are offering scholarships for students who wish to attend a summer music camp.  Please read the letter below.
 
 
Directors,
 
The University of Alabama, Auburn University, Troy University, UAB, and the University of Montevallo are offering one middle school and one high school summer music camp scholarship each. These scholarships will be presented at the Alabama Winds Spring Concert on Monday, May 29th at Homewood High School. Please give your students this information so they can apply. Visit the Alabama Winds website www.alabamawinds.org and click the Scholarship tab at the top of the page. Deadline to apply is Monday, May 1st.
 
Alabama Winds also offers a graduating senior scholarship to a student who plans on attending an in state University to pursue a degree in music education. Deadline is the same Monday, May 1st.
